Tournament Information
Competition for the Folk Style season will consist of 2-8 tournaments starting in mid December and running through the first week of March. Tournaments are held on Saturdays and consist of morning weigh-ins followed by competition. The team will leave from a central location for each tournament. Some tournaments may require overnight stay.
Competition for the Freestyle and Greco season will consist of 8-10 tournaments starting in mid March and running through the USA State Tournament the beginning of May. All local tournaments are one day tournaments held on Saturdays except for the Tar Heel Classic and the State Tournament. Overnight stay will be required for the Tar Heel Classic and the State Tournament. Participation in the USA Southeast Regional and the USA National Tournaments will be discussed in the spring, pending skill levels and preparation.
